Another web event last night (that’s it for a few weeks now though): MK Geeknight at Milton Keynes. Talk of the night for me was Westley Knight. He only had a five minute slot, but it was easily the best five minutes I have ever heard. Concise and to the point.

He spoke about the deluge of information you have to deal with as a web designer. Not a day goes by without another article or another podcast you add to your must read/listen list. The point Westley made was that you don’t have to keep up with all that. Learn what you need to know at a given time. And store the rest for when you need it.
