A few weeks ago I was asked if a specific interactive design feature could be coded in a website. At the time an idea came to mind of how this could be done, so I said: “Yeah, sure. No problem.” As you do.

Yesterday I found myself with the challenge of actually coding this feature and I couldn’t remember whatever clever idea I had when I said I could do it. Fortunately a good nights sleep has brought me closer to the solution (still missing a part though).

Moral of the story: If you have an idea, write it down. Don’t expect to remember everything all of the time.
