Execute: a book about acting on your ideas
Attending a book club when you haven't read the book is probably not the right way. In my defence: I saw the movie.
The book club in question was a small gathering of four web designers discussing Execute, a book by Drew Wilson and Josh Long. The book was "executed" in an eight day sprint and is about acting on your ideas immediately. Don't waste time. Just do it.
The views on the book were mixed. Acting on ideas was agreed to be better than shelving them never to be done. But questions were raised about the lack of thorough planning before executing an idea.
My view (based on the short movie) is that reading a book about acting on ideas is time wasting. I want to go and act on an idea. Now.
