Coding is a skill worth learning
There seems to be a lot of fuss at the moment about teaching children how to code. I am not against that as long as essential skills like reading and writing (by hand) don’t get neglected in the process.
But more seriously, being able to code is good for you. It teaches you to analyse a problem by thinking through all the stages you may need to reach an outcome. It also encourages you to preempt all the points where something could go wrong and how to avoid disasters to keep things on track.
That’s a good skill to have no matter what you end up doing later in life.
